The Earth's surface is divided into five climate zones those are:
  1. Polar - Shown in light blue. Polar zone lies between 90 degree north to 66.5 degree north. The region in this zone receives less direct heat. Similary, the zone that lies between 66.5 degree south to 90 degree south also receives less direct heat.
  2. Temperature - Shown in dark blue. This zone lies between 66.5 degree north to 23.5 degree north.
  3. Tropical - Shown in purple. This zone includes equator and lies between 23.5 degree north to 23.5 degree south. The regions in this zone receives most direct heat.
  4. Temperature - Shown in dark blue. This zone lies between 23.5 degree south to 66.5 degree south.
