The representation shows four face of the Earth:
  1. End of Permian Period: At the end of the Permian Period, Earth’s continents collided to form one giant landmass called Pangaea.
  2. Triassic Period: During the Triassic Period, Pangaea started to break apart and form separate land masses.
  3. End of Cretaceous Period: By the end of the Cretaceous Period, the continents as we know them began to drift apart.
  4. Present Day: Continents shown are in place, as we know now.
