The Miller-Urey experiment involves five steps:
Step 1: Water is evaporated in a spherical flask.
Step 2: A mixture of methane, ammonia, and hydrogen is added to the water vapor.
Step 3: The circulating gases are bombarded by sparks of electricity.
Step 4: Then passed through condensation chamber where water droplets are formed, which are sent back to spherical flask.
Step 5: The above cycle continues for a week, later liquid is collected which contains amino acids and other organic compounds.
