Here, x-axis shows the auxin concentration starting from 10 to the power minus eleven to 10 to the power minus one with increment of 10 to the power of minus two and y-axis is divided into two parts with middle of axis is showing the zero mark of growth. Above zero shows positive growth while below zero show growth inhibitor. The curve shows the following information:
  1. Growth of root increases with increasing the concentration of auxin from 10 to power minus eleven to 10 to the power minus nine. But further increment in auxin concentration from 10 to the power minus nine to 10 to the power minus five, suddenly inhibits the growth of root and reaches to its minimum level as soon as concentration level reaches to 10 to the power minus five.
  2. Growth of stem increases with increasing the concentration of auxin from 10 to power minus nine to 10 to the power minus six. But further increment in auxin concentration from 10 to the power minus six to 10 to the power minus one, suddenly inhibits the growth of root and reaches to its minimum level as soon as concentration level reaches to 10 to the power minus one.
