The x-axis is the age of men and women. The y-axis is the percent of population having high blood pressure. Blue colored bars indicate men and yellow colored bars indicate women. Women of the age group 20 to 34 and 35 to 44 were found to have low incidence of high pressure compared to men of the same age groups. The incidence of blood pressure among men and women of age 45 to 54 were equal. Women of age groups 55 to 64, 65 to 74 and 75 plus were found to have higher incidence of high blood pressure compared men of the same age groups.
