On the weather map key:
- An L within a circle indicates Low Pressure
- A H within a circle indicates High Pressure
- A cold front is shown as three triangular dips on a horizontal line.
- A stationary front is a horizontal line with a downward pointing triangle, an upward circular hump, and a downward pointing triangle.
- A warm front is three upward circular humps along a horizontal line
- An occluded front is an upward hump, an upward triangle and an upward hump
- A sign similar to an upward S with a darkened center indicates a Hurricane
- A tropical storm is the same sign as a hurricane, but the middle is not shaded in
- A cloud with rain indicates rain
- A dark shaded cloud with a lightning bolt indicates a thunderstorm
- A sun indicates Sunny weather
- A sun partially hidden behind a cloud indicates partially cloudy conditions.
