JAN & fEB |
For ALL Students: The ACT MATH PRACTICE PROJECT Continues! Your first Project for this semester is to do the two NEW full length assigned ACT Math Practice Tests in your USA Test Prep Account - one test for January & one test for February. A retake test will be available if you want to try for a higher score. AND, again, for each Practice Test, go back to check your answers and view the explanations. Then, write up corrections for 10 missed questions for each test and send them to me by Webmail for Participation points. *If you forgot your user name or password, let me know and I can look it up for you! *To earn 100% for each score, get at least 60% on the practice test. |
UNIT 5 |
For ALL Students: Unit 5 (except for Lesson 1) will be replaced with the Robot Design Project. |
Send in Reworks!! * any question from any Test or Quiz * but not Quick Checks * write out all of the steps to solve it * Webmail a copy or picture of your work |
A NOTE ABOUT CALCULATORS:
You will need a calculator for this class, and an online graphing calculator is provided in your lessons! I recommend bookmarking this link: DESMOS If you choose to also buy a calculator, be sure to read the instructions to learn all that it can do for you. For the ACT exam, if you choose to bring your own calculator, any calculator labeled "Scientific" will be sufficient. If you go on to calculus or statistics, you will then want to get an approved handheld graphing calculator. |
