You can classify angles according to their measures.

The symbol math m l error end math m l error ,  in the diagram above indicates a right angle.

Angles with the same measure are congruent angles. This means that if m angle , eh equals , m angle b comma  then angle eh approximately equal to angle b .  You can also say that if angle eh approximately equal to angle b comma  then m angle , eh equals , m angle b .

Angles A and B each have rays extending right and up to the right, in the same directions.

angle eh approximately equal to angle b

You can mark angles with arcs to show that they are congruent. If there is more than one set of congruent angles, each set is marked with the same number of arcs.
