Acing the Test

Doing well on tests, whether they are chapter tests or state assessments, depends on a good understanding of math concepts, skill at solving problems, and, just as important, good test-taking skills.

At the end of the chapter, you'll find a Quick Review of the concepts in the chapter and a few examples and exercises so you can check your skill at solving problems related to the concepts.

In the Cumulative Test Prep at the end of the chapter, you'll also find Tips for Success to strengthen your test-taking skills. We include problems of all different formats and types so you can feel comfortable with any test item on your state assessment.
