Match each three-dimensional figure with its net.

  1. A figure has two parallel hexagon bases connected by six rectangular sides.
  2. A figure has two parallel triangle bases connected by three rectangular sides.
  3. A figure has a triangular base connected to a point above by three triangular sides.
  1. A net has three horizontal rectangles stacked vertically, with a triangle attached to the right side of the top rectangle and another attached to the left side of the bottom rectangle.
  2. A net has a center triangle with equal triangles connected to each of its three sides.
  3. A net has a hexagon in the center with equal rectangles connected to each of its six sides, with another hexagon connected to the opposite end of one of the rectangles.

Draw a net for each figure. Label the net with its dimensions.

  1. A rectangular block has width 2 inches across the front, width 4 inches from front to back, and height 2 inches.
  2. A triangular block has rectangular base with width 6 meters across the front. The left side is connected to a rectangle with height 8 meters and length 7 meters from front to back. The two rectangles are connected by a third extending 10 meters between the two.
  3. A hexagonal block has two hexagonal bases connected by rectangles, 36 millimeters across the front and back side, 12 millimeters across the front right side, and 30 millimeters in height.
