How do scientists classify reactions?
Scientists classify chemical reactions based on the type of reactant or the number of reactants and products. Work in a group to develop a slide-show presentation that summarizes general types of reactions. First, determine how the slide show will be organized. Then work as a group or split up into smaller groups to cover the different reaction types. Present the final slide show in class or publish it on your class Web site.
