Noise-cancellation technology
In noise-cancellation technology, a headset is fitted with a tiny microphone. This microphone is linked to an electronic device that can analyze the amplitude and frequency of sounds. When an undesirable noise is picked up by the micro phone, a tiny speaker generates an anti-noise wave. The two waves cancel each other in destructive interference.
Research in the library or on the Internet products that use noise cancellation, such as car stereos that reduce road noise, mobile phones, stereo headphones, or headsets for customer service operators. Write a paragraph explaining how one of these products works.
